Change Netbook Resolution on Windows 8
In order to change your resolution to 1024x768, you must change some options from registry .
Windows 8 installation on netbook does not support with any new GUI application . So you must change the resolution to optimize for netbook resolution and allow to open any apps from windows 8.
This is the default resolution of netbook when installing Windows 8. So to improve this resolution, you must bypass something from the main editor aka regedit.
So now i will provide step by step of how to change your netbook resolution to 1024x768
1. Firstly go to search and and type regedit
2. Next click the regedit with left click and wait for the regedit window to appear.
After that click edit tab/button and choose find.
3. Next click find and typing this word Display1_DownscalingSupported
Please wait for it to searching the registry and appear.
3.1. Ok, after waiting, then the registry file of what we searching appear
4. Double click to that Display1_DownScalingSupported and change the value from '0' to '1'
After done change the value setting, press ok and then close the regedit .
Restart your netbook to refresh the resolution's registry .
5. After done restart your netbook, then right click mouse and click screen resolution.
Change the default resolution from 1024x600 to 1024x768.
